Saving Noah by Lucinda Berry
4.0
I feel very overwhelmed, angry, heartbroken and just… disgusted to be completely honest.
Lucinda Berry took a very tough topic and really wrote a story that walks a fine line between fiction and nonfiction in my opinion. I believe she did the topic well, and had me totally enthralled the entire time, but when the story ended and i closed the book i didn’t even know what to do.
I am the type of reader that goes into all books totally blind. I don’t like to judge a book by a synopsis or tropes because I truly enjoy most stories and don’t want any piece of them to be spoiled. WITH THAT -
this is NOT a story to go into blind. 100% of this story is raw, heartbreaking, infuriating, hurtful and triggering.
I think the books that stay with me the longest are the ones that make me feel - weather that be a happy feeling or the opposite. I believe this one will stay with me for quite some time.
