This story completely swept me up and blew my mind. I’m a fast reader when the story is good and I finished this one in two hours. Absolutely loved it! The descriptions of gore were just enough to make you squirm and shiver and the characters were sympathetic (though some were completely despicable and made you instantly hate them). Muriel is a tough lady who lived long, loved hard, and never backed down. Her story was amazing and I can’t wait for more of this author’s books!
