I stumbled upon this book and heard it was bad. And out of pure curiosity I picked it up. My normall reading doesn't usually fall in line with the dark romance sub genre, so it was definitely a new experience ( I attempted Haunting Adeline and DNF'd it couple chapters in) which tells you I'm probably way out of my league here.

I did not care for the romance in the book, I mainly stayed because as many people reference, Dolly and Rabbit have a very joker and Harley Quinn relationship. In that aspect, character development is definitely up there which is why I stayed. Definitely TW galore in this book. A little hard to read, definitely gives you icky vibes after reading it because of the trauma these poor characters were put through.

I will say that I was sorely disappointed at the ending. Not to spoil the ending too much, but the final revenge fell flat. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I was hoping for more revenge than what was given to them considering the person who set up this entire thing played a major role in what they went through.

But hey, that's just me.
