This was such a good book. But as I write now in the midst of the third novel, my judgement is a bit clouded by the knowledge of what's to come and how messes up everything becomes.
This first book, Love Me Never, has a female protagonist that lures you in cause she has been some shit in her life and still manages to be a sarcastic, loud girl who is not shy before the world and deals with everything however she can. In the middle of all that we have a bad boy thrown in, some friends, a mystery, some backlash from her past and a lot of shit happening, but it works.
After this book ends, everything stops working though.
