lacytelles 's review for:
Pax
by Sara Pennypacker
Sweet YA book I probably would've liked as a young person. It tells the story of a young boy, Peter, and his pet fox, Pax, after they are separated from one another. The location and the surrounding war are vague, which gives it almost a universal feel or even almost dystopic feel, but it works well in the story.
Note: the POV changes between humans and animals, but it doesn't feel cheesy.
