It started off so strong. Husbands death, murder investigation, her as a suspect. I thought that’s what the book was about- solving that case. But no. She runs away, tells everyone back home to stop the murder investigation and then?? We hear nothing else about it aside from her mourning moments. I have so many questions. I’m glad I didn’t buy it tbh. It was good overall but will the murder be looked into? Should I even continue the series?
