The Doughnut Fix by Jessie Janowitz
3.0

Ugh I related so hard to Tris being the oldest child and feeling left out of a lot of things. Even if his experience was very different than my own, I completely got where he was coming from.
Overall, this is a good story! Loved the entrepreneur aspect that isn't focused on "cheating" people out of their money (looking at you, my memories of Double Fudge) but rather on sharing a product that the maker feels is a worthwhile one.
There's a lot of moving parts in this one (and some random ones like the raccoon) which dropped it a star for me and the fact that I wasn't BUZZED about it made it four stars just off the bat (sorry my rating system is largely for me and how I want to buy books in the future). Overall, I loved reading this one and am excited to share this one with other readers!
