I have been waiting for this one since I finished the first book. I couldn’t wait to be with Jay & Cat again and see what happens after 13 years have gone by. I am obsessed with these two, they are some of my favorite characters. Cat is a fierce bad b**ch who takes not sh*t from anyone. Jay is swoon worthy and has this swagger/cocky energy but gives golden retriever vibes for Cat. Like the first book, I absolutely LOVEEEE the music element and I love that Chloe plays a part in that. The relationship between these three was so sweet, but especially Jay & Chloe… I loved it! I also must mention chapter 72 👀…my jaw was on the ground, I loved it lol 🌶️🔥...I also need more Frank stat! 

 

While I did love getting closure with these two, I do wish there was more groveling from Jay. I think Cat shouldn’t have been so quick to forgive him, but I can’t blame her. I think once she found out what had happened all those years ago and what he did for her, she let him get away with a good bit. Including the chaos/drama with her family that he orchestrated. But everything he did, was to protect her and Chloe and I was here for it lol. 

 

 I literally couldn’t put this book down, I completely devoured it. I just wanted these two to get their happily ever after, and it made me so happy. Also… that ending! I totally had a feeling that something like that was going to happen. Brittanee knows how to leave us wanting more and I can’t wait for IRISH!
