as with most anthologies there are going to be some hits and some misses. this was a mixed bag for me!! but i did really enjoy it as a whole!!
i particuarly enjoyed getting to read more of carmen maria machado's writing. it was awesome to hear about some films i was wondering whether they would come up- jennifer's body, us, hereditary.
i was able to get through this book quite quickly really. i think the only thing i would've liked was: more modern-ish horror movies. i somewhat feel that because it seemed as though many of the writers were millenial-ish age many of the films were of a certain time. which makes sense!! but to me personally there were lots of movies i wish had been included!!
