This was such a surprise! After disliking The Love Hypothesis and not intending to read more of the author, I picked this one up mostly on a whim and absolutely loved it. Does it have a lot of the classic repeated Ali Hazelwood plot and characters? For sure- but for me, these main characters were so loveable, and I thought this was a much more accurate depiction of academic research life. And maybe I was more partial too because it took place in Boston at MIT, which I have ties to. Overall, this was a highly enjoyable read that I gobbled up very quickly!
