It was cute and at least it was short! The character motivations confused me. Every other chapter it felt like Bryn changed her mind about whether she wanted to be a Roth or not. I got confused because multiple statements from the author contradicted each other. The romance went from 0 to 100 it was like out of nowhere. I think the tension we were supposed to be feeling just wasn’t there. I want to want to read Saint and Tides & Drift, but after this book I just don’t know if there’s any more to this story that I feel like I need to know.
