lapetitepaola 's review for:
Neruda on the Park
by Cleyvis Natera
(Not a review just me keeping track)
I'm a little torn about my rating for this book.
At the beginning I really like that this book would go around the topic of gentrification but then in the middle it felt a little lost.
Entonces, at the end things came together. And it all made sense.
This book does go around gentrification however I would have liked it to be the VERY central topic of it. I think Luz's relationship with Hugo took away a lil... or maybe it was me reading this book too slowly.
Nada, what gave the most strength to this book was Eusebia's POV and her mental deterioration.
