3.75 | I had VERY low expectations for this book. When something is lauded by Booktok it immediately makes me skeptical, but I will say I enjoyed this more than I expected to. It is a perfect, precious, nostalgic summer romance. If that's what you're looking for - this is it. The teen angst is STRONG, but I found it to be more relatable than cheesy.

Now this book is not flawless by any means. The characters? Flat, and dumb to be honest. The cheating trope? So expected and so annoying. Best character? The dead mom.

Anyway, Kendra and I discuss way more in our episode, so check out Bookkish with Two K's wherever you get your podcasts :)
