I enjoyed this short story. It's only 2 chapters, but it gave a great introduction to James and Leon. I'm honestly very impressed by how fleshed out both characters were in under 50 pages. The premise of them being feuding co-workers who are sent to conflict mediation but inadvertently end up in couples therapy was a fun idea. And I'm excited that D.C. Emerson has a series of novellas coming out that will expand on their story. I look forward to reading them!
