I adore Ella Fitzgerald voice, if I could marry it, I would. It makes world so much more beautiful. But some time ago, I realised that I knew close to nothing about Ella. This type of books is a great place to start, because it's not a great commitment and it doesn't assume that you have any prior knowledge. This is definitely targeted on the "smaller side of kids" so... I would have liked a bit more, but it was fine. The art is pretty, though it makes Ella look much more younger than she was at the time (which makes sense considering the audience...).
