Well-Read Black Girl: Finding Our Stories, Discovering Ourselves by Glory Edim

4.0

I definitely think it would've been five stars if I were reading it physically rather than audibly. I love Toni Morrison, Zora Neale Hurston, Roxane Gay, bell hooks, etc. and they were all mentioned several times in various essays throughout this anthology. I loved hearing Black voices speak out about their culture, their experiences, their hardships, and how books/authors have impacted their lives. I will probably purchase a physical copy of this book in order to get a more thorough reading experience with it.
