I LOVED THIS BOOK
i enjoyed king of scars but i found some parts to be slow and kinda boring, but this book was face paced and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED SEEING KAZ AND THE OTHER CROWS AGAIN!!! i love how zoya became queen and how the end leads perfectly to a third book with the crows involved. however maybe it’s just me still not being over matthias’s death but i don’t ship hanne and nina together. i like hanne as a character but i just don’t ship them together whoops. also i’m kinda thrown off by the darkling choosing to be tortured in order to keep the fold from expanding. like i feel like it was kinda out of knowhere so i wish there was a chapter of his pov of why he decided to do that and yuri still being in there. but overall i loved seeing old characters like alina and the crows and zoyas development was really well done.
