A remarkable adventure, brilliantly crafted. The world of Majipoor is lovingly detailed, with elements both familiar and fantastic. The characters are relatable and interesting, and the story engrossing. 
The narration by Stefan Rudnicki is superb on this audio edition; sadly, he doesn’t do the rest of the series, so I will read those in print/ebook editions.
