Girls' Night Out by Lisa Steinke, Liz Fenton
3.0

I was selected by Lake Union publishing thru NetGalley to review a copy of Girls' Night Out.

Girls' Night Out by Liz Fenton & Lisa Steinke is a book about three girlfriends going on a girls trip to Mexico. Ashley, Natalie, and Lauren have been friends for twenty years. There was a falling out a year ago with Lauren and Ashley is hoping to rectify that with this girls trip. All three girls are dealing with the struggles of everyday life- marriages, friendships, finances, parenting, etc. The problem is Marco, he meets the girls during a yoga retreat and keeps inviting himself to spend time with the girls- since he's taking a liking to Ashley. Something happens the last night of the girls trip and Ashley ends up missing. Everyone has motive, but no one knows what really happened.

This book pulls you in right away- the story is told in multiple view points and alternates between the time before Ashley's disappearance and after Ashley's disappearance. The pace of the book is fast, but does slow down in a few spots. This book would make a great poolside read.

The publication date of this book is July 24,2018.
