I was looking forward to this book and really liked the story. The ending let me down, although I should have seen it coming. This book is fiction, but we’ve seen similar stories played out in real life all over the Evangelical community for years. I appreciated that the story is written from the point of view of the daughters and so we get to see how this particular world looks to them and how they long for change. I pray that someday that change comes.
