I absolutely loved this book! From start to finish, it kept me engaged. Kuang's writing style is the perfect mixture of complex and easy to read. I was never bored and the book was easy to start and stop. It was such a clever idea, too. While some of the plot was predictable and I deeply cringed at some of Juniper's decisions, I found myself being pulled back into the story and eager to read more. My only true complaint is how the book ended!! I really needed to see that story play out!!? I will definitely be looking into more of Kuang's work!
