Spicy and captivating. Sky develops these characters throughout the book. the way Bastien protects Fleur, especially from her cheating ex-husband Adrian. He eliminates everyone in his path that he can, until he is taken by surprise and he has put Fleur in the position of being seriously hurt because of him. He struggles with the idea of her leaving him, and he can't take that. At the end, when the final twist comes into play, it has you craving the next book in the series,s "The Siant"
