I loved the Elemental Blessings series and the Twelve Houses series and I was excited about a new series, but I was not into this one. I didn’t like the main characters Brianna and Marguerite, and I didn’t fully get into the main idea of the echos either. I enjoy young adult fiction but this one feels too young for me. I am a Sharon Shinn fan but this one isn’t for me.
