September by Rosamunde Pilcher
3.0
I loved [b:Winter Solstice|116054|Winter Solstice|Rosamunde Pilcher|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1347737313l/116054._SY75_.jpg|2067411] and [b:The Shell Seekers|37095|The Shell Seekers|Rosamunde Pilcher|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1385213408l/37095._SY75_.jpg|517040], so much so that I literally saved this book for almost a year so that I could read it for the first time in September. Although I enjoyed it, I definitely felt like this story had a lot more of the bittersweet than either of the other two I've read by the same author. Whereas Winter Solstice felt like it was about redemption and new beginnings, September seemed to have more about endings and things it was too late to fix. I still enjoyed it, but don't know that I'll read it again.
