Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.

I was already pretty meh on this after book 1, and I realized after putting this book down for a few days that I really did not want to pick it back up. The characters had decent banter, but I could not care any less about Slate/Caliban, and the worldbuilding in general felt really lacking. Mildly curious about how the plot works out, but not enough to keep reading.
