Becoming Mrs. Lewis by Patti Callahan

4.0

This book could have been shortened. The only thing that kept me going was Joy and Jack's relationship (I mean yeah it's like the main focus of the book.) Anyway, I felt like there were at least 100 unneeded pages. I just really couldn't get into the book. The message was good, the quotes at the beginning of each chapter were beautiful, and I cried at the end. So I would say it was worth my time. Nevertheless, it definitely could have been shorter. I gave this novel 4 stars because it convinced me to finally read the Chronicles of Narnia which have been collecting dust. Overall the book was rather interesting but I'm not 100% sure how much is fiction.
