Although when you think about the details of the story, they do seem somewhat wrong. The story itself is intriguing. The author shows that Elio and Oliver are somewhat foils of each other which cause their attraction and their demise. I overall recommend the book more then the movie. I don’t like the character Oliver for many obvious reasons snd the book just solidified that he is the villain.
