I remember why this is my favourite part of the series, both book and movie. The found family feeling and trope is so strong in this one and it is everything I want. We finally get more development of all the characters, even those smaller like Luna and Ginny. I also loved more insight into the adults, their past their positions, and what they are about. Especially Lupin and McGonagall made me love them even more this book.
After losing so many people in recent years I have a new found understanding of Harry at the end, one I didn't have when I first read the book. It truly makes me dislike Dumbledore all the more and yet the end, of all of them together is a great comfort because they are family and look out for each other.

Further notes: Tonks is my favourite and she deserved to be given more space, Lupin and Sirius are GAY, and McGonagall one of the bravest most amazing women of this series.
