"She wasn't light; she was color. Every single one…"

Honestly, this was so much fun to read. I needed this book after reading so many serious fantasy books. It was just such a nice, refreshing, and hilarious story. This book had me giggling and kicking my feet because it was such a fun book. Also I am pretty sure this book was laced with crack because I could NOT stop reading it. The grumpy/sunshine trope just gets me every single time, and I love it.
Evie Sage is such a sweetheart and deserves all the good in life. She was honestly hilarious and had me cackling the whole entire book. I loved all the characters in this book and I think they were all really well done!

The betrayal at the end?? so surprising and I was not expecting that at all. I can't wait to start the second book!!
