raebelluk 's review for:
The Betrayal of Thomas True
by A.J. West
'Set amidst the hidden world of Georgian London’s gay scene, The Betrayal of Thomas True is a brutal and devastating thriller, where love must overcome evil, and the only true sin is betrayal…'
I have been hearing great things about this book for month's but kept putting it off. Wish I hadn't such a fantastic story.
So descriptive you can completely see everything being described and feel what the time and the world would have been like.
The writing style might not be for everyone but after a few pages you find yourself relaxing into it and letting it flow.
I had no previous knowledge of Mollies or that time period. "We are Mollies. Always together."
This book will take you through a full range of emotions as you see Acceptance, love, loss and clue in the title betrayal.
Think this will be one I go back to for a reread.
