My first immediate thought: Definitely in my hockey romance era now. I DEVOURED this book in basically one day.
The tension, spice, and *hate* was palpable throughout this whole book. I love forced proximity / roommate tropes and this one also hit the spot for me. Tristan is an absolute filthy man 😂 I think I loved it overall, but sometimes that was a bit much for me.
The third quarter of the book seemed to drag (for me), and I got a little bored with the back and forth, but I was still happy with the ending.
There was also a hint for the next couple for book 2 and I can’t wait!!
Thank you Good Girls PR and Helena for the eARC.
