Absolutely stunning through and through. In every sense of the word.
I lack the language to properly explain why it is such a wonderful read, but I would say if you are looking for a beautifully written book that challenges you and plays with you and takes you by the hand as you walk along the beautiful linguistic paths of prose and narrative Machado has constructed, this is most certainly the book for you.
