How can a novel about insufferably pretentious, wealthy, white college kids who are just terrible people leave me wishing them well? Once I got fully immersed in the story, I honestly could think of nothing else. I still can’t think about anything but this book. It’s haunting and beautiful and totally worth the time it takes to read it. I hesitated giving it five stars due to its pretentious nature.  However, the fact that I can’t stop thinking about it makes me feel like ultimately I made the right call.
