Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese
3.0

This book was just okay. I am a lover of hockey, but I found that the book spent far too much time and description on hockey. Hockey being so important in Saul's life was probably the reason for this, but it made some parts of the book difficult to get through. I thought that Wagamese was wonderful with his words and descriptions of nature. I would have liked to have read more about his life at the school, life with the Kelly family, what happened at the Dawn Center, etc. Some of these seemingly important moments in Saul's life were brushed over too quickly, and left me wanting more and having unanswered questions.
