This book was my introduction to the world of the SCP Foundation, and I didn't realize that there was already an existing fandom and a dedicated wiki page to it. The exploration of the antimemetic division specifically was what got me interested in this book, which isn't really explored much in most of the YouTube videos I've watched.
The creative use of classified documents, redacted sections, and timeline switching felt really disorienting yet immersive in this book.
The fast pace and quick introduction of characters where it didn't feel like there was enough time to form an emotional attachment with anyone was off-putting but I got used to it after a few chapters. I liked that the main protagonist, Marion is already one of the best in her field, and yet she still falls susceptible to antimemes. There are still a lot of things that have not been fully explored in the book and the pacing felt rushed towards the end, but I would say concept-wise the book is pretty solid and the characters were fascinating, especially the SCPs.
