The Decagon House Murders
by Yukito Ayatsuji
I’m shocked by all the lackluster reviews here, I think any classic mystery lover would enjoy this one too. There are lots of clever nods to all the greats of the genre. I liked that all the clues are there for the reader and if you use your little grey cells you might be able to figure it out. I had the right motive and ways the murders were committed, but the wrong murderer. Ha! I had a hard time keeping track of all the names and who was who. If you really want to solve the mystery I’d recommend keeping notes on who is who. Anyway, it was a fun trip back to the 80s and a clever twist on a classic genre.
