I wanted to re-read this, cause I haven’t really enjoyed a single Josh Malerman since this one. I thought maybe I was wrong about liking Bird Box as well, but nope… Bird Box holds up! Also, about the audiobook: I really enjoyed the narration up until the las 15%, when instead of scared and on the brink of a breakdown, Malorie just sounded really whiny and annoying, but other than that, phenomenal.
