i loved the writing style,
and that whole scene of samantha being fully assimilated into the bunnies and their hive mind, done in fourth person perspective, was genuinely amazing
. however, i found it slow at the beginning and unfortunately the bunnies felt very one dimensional. the narrator hated them for no other reason than they were a bit fake and judgemental. hardly anything worthy of
creating an entire human embodiment of hate out of a stag to hurt them
. i liked how dark it was, i felt like i was on drugs a lot of the time, right there next to sam. the whole bit with the lion i felt wasn’t really necessary? he didn’t add much. jonah is a sweetheart. the story confused me a little bit but i think i had it pieced together by the end. the plot twist was pretty good too.
