Running with Scissors
by Augusten Burroughs
I'm not normally a true-life memoir reader, but this one sucked me in, mainly perhaps because the author for the most part didn't adopt a "woe is me" attitude about his crazy life & the unbeliveably crazy people around him...the most crazy of all being the psychiatrist who was supposed to be helping the author and his mother. Also, a valuable introduction to Bible dips, toilet readings, and much, much more.
