Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal? by Jeanette Winterson

inspiring reflective sad

5.0

The blurb says "Witty, acute, fierce, and celebratory". I mean, I guess it is, but if I could add "gutpunching, raw, made me sit down and cry", thank you very much.

It starts almost innocently, and then grabs you and doesn't let go until you feel the full force of its emotion. Great memoir, condensed, stylistic, I have no words, just tears. Love!
