I love just how much development there is to the story in this book. Theres definitely no decline or lull in the storytelling and Suri ties plot lines together while still moving the story along. Malini and Priya’s dynamic is so incredibly interesting and complex but just so beautiful.

The way Malini’s prophecy (if that’s what it is?) with her brothers death was  written very well, I really enjoyed the full circle nature of Aditya’s sacrifice.

I love the world created by Suri and if anything Oleander Sword is better than the first book.
