Dolly Alderton - a writer I'm not going to shy away from because her writing pulled me in. It's very captivating, highly riveting, witty & hilarious.

To sum it up = A Memoir - Mostly Unrelatable, Super Entertaining, Lots of Pop Culture References, Many Quotable Lines.

I liked a lot of this, but majorly, didn't find it relatable. Some of my primary motivations to read till the end were her magnetic writing style (your eyes just flow to cover vast expanses of words & you're able to make sense of it all), entertaining & wild teenage years, absolute chaos (whirlwind/rollercoaster ride!) of her relationships/flings, interspersed Recipes & E-mails (these definitely annoyed me at some point bc they seemed downright unrealistic and in some parts, plain rude) & super short chaps. It's good for a binge-read, not to be taken heavily seriously & the funny parts keep you mentally grinning. There were definitely MANY quotable lines which I will take inspiration from. My physical paperback copy is also heavily annotated and this was the first book I created an 'Annotation Guide' for before Page 1 :) Reading this in my late 20s was a good co-incidence! My daunting fear to reach my 30s hasn't vanished in any way, but it feels good to know Dolly & her gang felt/feel the same.

P.S. Farly had my heart in this one.
P.P.S. Absolutely loved & cherished the Dedication to Farly's sister, Florence
