I love the format of these poems. I love the fierce and unapologetic way the words of these poems encourage women to take up space and be themselves regardless of the way the world responds. I especially enjoyed the collaborative efforts from other poets at the end of this book — it was nice to sample other poets’ work and gave me some hints as to other poets I might enjoy reading.
