The Lords of Miami: To Catch Her by Alice K. Wayne

5.0

Oh Mikayla Jones.... Jonesy, Jonesy, Jonesy... Whatever will Tomas do with you?

Well Tomas is going to do whatever he damn well pleases. Being raised in a crime family and being the "black sheep" has given him quite the outlook.

I love how Alice gave us a glimpse into their past and how they connected as college kids. Though through a cam lens gave Mikayla some anonymity during those days. Tomas just needed some sort of connection outside of his family. He felt like such a disappointment that he sought out "love" through a screen.

Fast forward to current times and Mikayla is investigating the Ramirez family and their organization. Interviewing to be Tomas' PA was a spot of luck or misfortune... that is up to you the reader to decide.

We are also introduced to the rest of the Ramirez family. We have Mateo and Santiago, the older brothers. Then their father and grandmother. Alice does a great job of world building in any genre she chooses to write in.

Quentin had to be the best best friend ever. He is the glue to Mikayla's mayhem.

The only thing I wanted more of was the story! I cannot wait until the next book releases!
