I liked everything about this book! Jamie, the strong, independent, sassy, rock star main character. Clayton, the fun, cheesy, country star main character. I liked the story of them accidentally co-writing a song together that then went viral. Jamie writes a song but struggles a bit with it and Clayton steps in to help on his guitar so it turns it into a country song, not a rock song like Jamie wanted. Jamie has to put aside her feelings of resentment and slowly learns to trust people after her ex boyfriend starts a relationship with his co-star. Jamie had a crap upbringing and has a hard time trusting people. Clayton needs to work on being honest with her. They go on tour, sing together, play a lot of pranks with the band, and get to know each other better. I liked the secondary characters and Clayton’s family. This was a fun read and I kept turning the pages to see what was going to happen while laughing and cheering them on. I really liked the small chapters from Clayton’s point of view too. I would love to read more in this world if the author decides to turn it into a series!
