I want to say thank you to the Author for reaching out with an ARC for this book! I flew through this! It’s YA sci-fi that I know high school me would have loved and adult me still really enjoyed!
This book has troubled teens at a camp in the woods and that’s where we meet our protagonist Spooky. After sneaking out to meet another camper spooky find herself in another world with an ancient god who she must strike a deal with for her survival.
I loved spooky as a protagonist! She felt like a real teenager which can be hard to do. I really enjoyed following her journey and the characters she meets along the way!
The world building was so good. I could imagine these gods and their worlds and the scary things within them while reading.
Also the ENDING had me and I would really love for a sequel to this!
Overall I really enjoyed it and gave it 4 stars⭐️
