The Deathless, the Dreamless, and the Other Dark Fellows by Giuliano Olivotto

5.0

Short stories and graphic novels, a twilight zone style anthology!

I didn't know exactly what to expect from this book but there was something about the cover that "called" to me. I read the excerpt and decided to give this writer I didn't know a chance (and who from his Amazon profile seems to have written another book in a completely different genre). Well I wasn't wrong.

Giuliano Olivotto has created a treasure chest of dark thoughts made of words and the drawings (at the end of the book you will also find his interpretations of his characters...as a bonus). Each story is different from the other in every way but fear and holds them all together.

The short stories and graphic novels keep you on your toes and lead to unexpected endings. The characters are well delineated and believable, and it feels like a small TV series on your hands. I think it is a very good read and recommend it to fans of twilight zone short stories.
