Second Chances in New Port Stephen: A Novel by TJ Alexander

emotional lighthearted

4.5

I thought we’d moved past the need to loudly proclaim our friends’ presumed sexualities to other people but Eli seemed to revel in it despite having been estranged from this person for years. If it weren’t for this it would be five stars. It’s one thing to make assumptions to yourself but all the times Eli spoke for Nick while standing in front of him drove me nuts. Though if I look closer it’s cuz I probably relate to Nick not feeling like he had any sort of concrete label to be able to refute it other than that the label feels wrong. Anyway I really loved this overall, I promise.
