The German Wife by Kelly Rimmer
4.0
Like most I enjoyed this book. I appreciated it showing the struggle of Germans who were against the Reich but unaware of what options they had without risking their lives. On the flip side it did a good job of showing what was happening in America in the lead up of WWII and the struggles that were faced without any sort of option to change what was happening.
It is well written and does a wonderful job of making you think about the choices people faced. It also poses the questions of whether or not we should have allowed so many German scientists into the US after the war. A very thought provoking book that was easy to read and focused on a maybe less typical area of the WWII genre
