Not for me. Difficult to follow at times. There is a plot, but it feels disjointed. The writing is very good, just not the kind of storytelling I was searching for. 

My favorite lines are about

the lemmings crawling into her hair, then the narrator dutifully bringing the lemmings back to where they came from. I liked picturing how the lemmings would feel tangled in my hair.
